Bank holiday information for our services, including opening times and emergency contacts. All recycling collections will take place on the usual days.

Renew or apply for a resident saver permit

Resident saver permits are free and allow Swansea residents to receive discounted parking in council car parks.

Applications can take up to 2 working days to be checked and processed. 

Until you receive your digital permit, you will not be entitled to the parking discount via the MiPermit app.

You will need to provide one of the following when applying or renewing a resident saver permit:

  • your V5 log book - must show your name and Swansea address
  • your driving licence - must show your name and Swansea address
  • utility bill - must show your name and address (no more than 3 months old)
  • bank statement - must show your name and address (no more than 3 months old)

This saver permit is only valid if you pay for parking via the MiPermit app.
