Notice of intention to publish the council's revised policy in relation to the Gambling Act 2005
In accordance with Section 349 of The Act, notice is given that the council's policy will be published on the 9 November 2023, before coming into effect on the 7 December 2023.
The policy is available below.
It will also be available for inspection at the Licensing Division, Housing and Public Protection Services, Directorate of Place, Civic Centre, Oystermouth Road, Swansea SA1 3SN. If you wish to inspect the policy at the Civic Centre, you will need to book an appointment by emailing evh.licensing@swansea.gov.uk
Statement of gambling policy
The City and County of Swansea has issued a Statement of Licensing Policy under the Gambling Act 2005.
The statement covers how we plan to promote the licensing objectives for the Gambling Act as well as what we expect from licensed premises.
