The look and feel of the website has been refreshed and improved,  enabling easier browsing and use on smartphones.

It's now more straightforward for council website users to find the help and advice they need, building on other improvements introduced throughout the pandemic so far to support local people.

The improved website will also enable more and more council services to be brought online in coming months and years.

Cllr Andrew Stevens, Swansea Council's Cabinet Member for Business Improvement and Performance, said: "The council website is such an important tool for Swansea's residents, businesses and communities to access a broad range of services - from checking opening times of council buildings and attractions to paying bills and finding out about events and activities taking place in the local area.

"Like all websites though, the council website had started to look tired in recent times. This is why an improved website at exactly the same address has now been introduced, not just to make its look and feel better, but also to make it more accessible on smartphones with more and more people using their mobile devices nowadays to access our services.

"The improvements will enable more council services to come online soon as well, which will further support local people in coming months and years.

"We will also continue to work with communities throughout the city, taking their feedback on board to introduce even more council website improvements in future."
