When will I know if my application for a Reception or Year 7 school place has been successful or not?

When making your on-line application you will be asked to choose whether you wish to be notified of the outcome of your application by email or by letter.

When making your on-line application you will be asked to choose whether you wish to be notified of the outcome of your application by email or by letter. 

You will need to give permission for us to use your email address. This email address will be used for admission purposes only in line with data protection. If you do not grant permission, you will not receive your offer by email but will still be able to view your offer on-line (only if you applied on-line via our application portal).

If you did not apply using the on-line portal and submitted a paper application you will not be notified by email, but will be sent a letter by post.

For Year 7 applications, parents who have applied on time will be notified about whether or not their child has been allocated a place at the school of their choice on 1 March 2024. 

For Reception applications, parents who have applied on time will be notified about whether or not their child has been allocated a place at the school of their choice on 16 April 2024.
