Tourism trade

Swansea Council's Tourism Team is the official provider of visitor information and responsible for marketing Swansea Bay, Mumbles and Gower to the rest of the UK.

We run year-round marketing campaigns to raise the profile of the destination and actively encourage visitors to Swansea Bay via our official destination website visitswanseabay.com, social media and high-profile PR visits.

We actively support sustainable destination development through the Council's Destination Management Plan (DMP), business support, funding, research, trade events and working partnerships.

We work closely with Visit Wales and Tourism Swansea Bay, the local tourism trade association. Tourism operators have the opportunity to become Visit Swansea Bay Partners and promote their business as part of our campaigns.
