Tir John solar farm pre-planning application consultation

Have your say: consultation before applying for planning permission for a solar farm at Tir John Landfill Site.

If you require this consultation in an alternative format e.g. large print please contact

WSP on behalf of Swansea Council has prepared a planning application for the construction of a 3 Mega-Watt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV) farm at the Tir John Landfill Site.

Ahead of submitting the application, we would like your views on the proposed development.

We need your comments by 29 April 2022.

If you would like to comment on this proposed development then please email, or you can write to Gavin Lewis, WSP in the UK, 1 Capital Quarter, Tyndall Street, Cardiff, CF10 4BZ

What happens next?

Your comments will be taken into consideration, and when the proposal progresses to a planning application a report detailing how this has been done will be submitted.

Comments you submit may be made available to the public, but your details (for example, your email or home address will not be shown).

When the proposal moves to an application for planning permission you will be able to comment again at that stage.
