Following a period of Statutory Notice, the proposal to amalgamate Ysgol Crug Glas and Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn on existing school sites from 1 September 2025 and relocate to a new purpose-built school on 1 April 2028, was approved by Cabinet on 18 April 2024.
