Report an overflowing litter bin

Report a litter bin that is overflowing so we can empty it.

Litter bins around district shopping areas are emptied daily at the same time as the street cleaning. All other litter bins are emptied whilst the refuse crews are in the area.

Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) can be issued by enforcement staff and Police Community Support Officers for the offence of dropping litter. Litter also includes cigarette butts and chewing gum.

The penalty for dropping litter is £100 payable within 14 days. If the penalty is paid within 7 days, it is reduced to £75.
