Oystermouth Castle knitted poppy display
A wall of Oystermouth Castle will be immersed in a cascade of 6,000+ knitted poppies in a special community-led tribute. Work will start on the display from 4 November and will be fully in place in time for 11 November.
Other useful information
Civic buildings around Swansea will fall silent on 11 November at 11.00am for the national two-minute silence.
The Guildhall will be lit in poppy red on the evenings of 10 and 11 November.
Poppies are on sale in a number of council venues, including Swansea Market, a number of libraries and the Civic Centre.
