What can be recycled at each site

If you have a specific item to get rid of but aren't sure which recycling centre to take it to, use our recycling item search.

8. Any bags containing recyclable items will not be accepted, with only limited sorting allowed on site
9. The following types of wood are NOT accepted as they are classed as hazardous waste and they should instead be disposed of at facilities that accept hazardous waste:
  - railway sleepers
  - waste wood from docks, block flooring, boats, carriages or trailer beds
  - waste wood treated with creosote
10. Any tins or glass need to be recycled separately
11. No commercial or large renovation waste
  
  If you have large amounts of rubble to dispose of, you can hire a skip or pay for disposal at the Baling Plant weighbridge.
  
  Commercial / renovation waste includes:
  - house clearance
  - landscaping
  - construction
  - demolition
  - anything that would not be produced through day to day domestic activity, anything that constitutes the fixtures and fittings of a house (windows, walls, bathroom suites, garages)
