Environmental events - October

Conservation Task Day 

2 October 10.00am - 2.00pm

Meeting outside Bishop's Wood Countryside Centre, Caswell Bay Rd, Caswell, Swansea SA3 3BN

Join us at beautiful Bishop's Wood Local Nature Reserve and help us with coppicing and removal of some non-native and invasive species.

• Tea and biscuits provided
• Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and terrain and ones that you don't mind getting dirty
• All equipment will be provided
• This activity is not suitable for children

* In case of unsuitable weather conditions on 2 October, this event will be postponed to 16 October (all registered attendees for this event will be informed via email)

Fungi Foray

A chance to learn everything you wanted to know about wild mushrooms! This event will be led by Mr Teifion Davies (amateur mycologist and Head Gardener at Clyne Gardens).

• Please bring a collecting basket or a Tupperware
• Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and terrain
• Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult
• Weather dependent
