Sunday 1 October - Rosehill Quarry Volunteer Session
11.00am - 1.00pm, Rosehill Quarry, off Terrace Road, Mount Pleasant, Swansea SA1 6HU
Regular volunteer session: litter pick, maintenance and other general tasks. Come and explore a hidden gem close to Swansea city centre. Tea and coffee provided if weather suitable.

Tuesday 3 October (and every Tuesday) - Rosehill Quarry Work Day

Wednesday 4 October - Crymlyn Burrows Beach Clean
1.00pm, boardwalk behind the Great Hall, Swansea University Bay Campus, Fabian Way SA1 8EN
Join this monthly beach clean to get some fresh air, gentle exercise and help keep Crymlyn Burrows special. All equipment is provided and if you can't make the start time, bags, gloves and pickers will be left at the boardwalk so you can join at any time until 3.00pm - just give as much or little time as you can spare. Open to students, staff and the wider community.

Saturday 14 October - GSY Worms Head Causeway Exploration and Seal Watching
11.00am - 2.00pm, NT car park, Rhossili, Gower SA3 1PR
Join Gower society Youth and Gareth Richards from the Gower seal group for a walk down to the causeway for rock pooling and seal watching. Please wear suitable shoes with good grip which you don't mind getting wet. You are welcome to bring binoculars. Suitable for families.

Saturday 21 October - Apple Day at the Farm
11.00am - 2.00pm, Swansea Community Farm, 2 Pontarddulais Road, Fforestfach SA5 4BA
Head for Swansea Community Farm for a super fun Apple Day, to learn about and explore our beautiful heritage apple orchard, and activities including juicing, treasure hunts, baking, arts and crafts and games galore. No booking necessary. Bring along a bottle and any suitable apples you have for juicing. Donations welcome.

Saturday 21 October - WWT Walk with a Warden
11.30am - 1.00pm, Llanelli Wetland Centre, Penclacwydd, Llanelli SA14 9SH
No need to book. Included in the admission fee (free to members). Meet the friendly expert guides at the information desk and they will help you spot the season's highlights. Learn how to look for subtle signs and identify some species. Suitable for all, on even, accessible paths. If you wish you can dip out along the way. Feel free to bring cameras or binoculars. Dress for the weather on the day.

Tuesday 31 October - Tots on Tyres with BikeAbility Wales
12noon - 1.00pm, BikeAbility Wales, Dunvant Rugby Club, Killay, Swansea SA2 7RU
Tots and toddlers come and play with us. We have scooters, trikes, balance bikes and many more. Start them young and have some fun. £6 per child.
