Matthew's House
Matthew's House exists to provide a warm and welcoming building in the heart of Swansea, with the expressed intention of being accessible for the homeless and most vulnerable in Swansea. Hot meals are provided for those in need.
Food banks and other food support
Matthew's House provides emergency cooked meals for people who are vulnerably housed.
Matt's Café
Matt's Café is a cafe that intercepts food waste and operate on a pay as you feel basis, meaning that if you cannot afford to pay you are treated equally and can access a meal no matter what your budget is, a donation is not required.
Hot home-cooked style food (takeaways available but please bring your own container):
- Monday and Tuesday, 11.30am - 1.45pm
- Sundays, 7.00pm - 8.45pm

Takeaway service between 11.30am and 1.00pm on:
- Wednesday at St Mary's Church, St Mary's Square
- Thursday and Friday at Zac's Place, George Street

On Mondays and Tuesdays there are also shower and laundry facilities available (referral only), plus friendly advocacy and support from other professional organisations. Hygiene products available on Tuesdays. Everything is free of charge on a pay-as-you feel basis.
