Meeting at Caswell Bay car park: Caswell Road, Caswell, Swansea SA3 3BS

Malcolm is an award-winning hedge layer with over 25 years of experience. Hedge-laying is more than a job for Malcolm - it's a calling.

As the art of hedge-laying is at risk of being on the Endangered Crafts list, Malcolm is passionate about preserving our Welsh heritage as losing these skills will also result in a loss of diversity on farmland.

In this two-day workshop Malcolm will go through the basics, including different regional styles and the purposes for hedge-laying.
