Holiday visitor permit

Visitors who normally live outside Swansea who will be staying in the area can use one of these parking permits to park in a residents parking bay while they are here.

This permit can be used for people renting a property for a holiday (commercial lettings) and for anyone visiting friends or relatives.

  • The owner or agent of the property MUST apply for the permit, not the person visiting the property.
  • Payment is required at time of application. Please allow three working days' notice for your application to be processed.
  • Only one holiday visitors permit can be given to an address at a time, but there is no limit on how many of this type of permit can be issued in succession.
  • The virtual permit is valid for one week and is only applicable in the street named.
  • There is a charge of £25.00 per week for each permit (there is no reduction in charge for stays of less than a week). Please note that this is a non-refundable fee.
  • The virtual permit requires authorisation and once issued, a confirmation email will be sent.
  • The visitors must normally live outside the Swansea area.
  • You can apply for up to two weeks at any one time.

Evidence needed to apply for a Holiday Visitor Permit

  1. A utility or Council Tax bill - must show the Swansea address and be in date.
