The Gallery offers a broad range of visual arts from the original bequest of Richard Glynn Vivian (1835-1910), which includes works by old masters as well as an international collection of Swansea China.

Glynn Vivian conservation
Our Conservation team care for all the artworks in the Collection, with a special focus at present on Richard Glynn Vivian's original bequest, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Education handling collection
This small group of 19th century ceramics can be handled and considered for use in drawing, painting, pottery or sculpture sessions, offering sensory access too for everyone, as they are very tactile.

Photography, copyright and permissions
Images of the Permanent Collections are available for hire for educational use and for publication purposes.

Offsite collection displays
During the Gallery redevelopment, highlights of the Collection can be seen on display Amgueddfa Cymru-National Museum Wales in Cardiff.

Your Paintings
Hundreds of oil paintings from the gallery's collection including works by Monet, Pissarro and Evan Walters are among those included on the BBC website 'Your Paintings' devoted to the arts.
