Under the Childcare Act 2006 local authorities are required to secure, as far as is reasonably practicable, childcare in the area, to meet the needs of the community in general and to enable parents to make a real choice about work.

The Family Information Service (FIS) would like to know if you have experienced any difficulties in finding suitable childcare in the area.
