You must complete the application form in full. You will need to pay the application fee when you submit your form.

This application form is for people wanting to run an animal boarding establishment and covers kennels, catteries and other similar premises. If you are providing a dog boarding or home sitting service in your own home you should complete the apply for an animal home boarding licence form.

Accommodation and facilities

  5. Health and Welfare - protecting the animals from pain, suffering, injury and disease.

  • Your system of monitoring the animals for the duration of their stay
  • Your procedures for controlling the spread of disease including your cleaning regime and products used
  • Isolation arrangements
  • Veterinary treatment and the administration of medication

  • Arrangements for transporting animals.
  
  6. Training
