Adopt a bench - apply online

You can apply online to adopt a bench.

This form is available in Welsh - click on 'Cymraeg' in the top right corner of your screen.

The council welcomes contributions towards this scheme and offers 2 options:

Option A: The adoption of an existing bench in order to place a plaque
In some of the council's parks and open spaces there are existing benches that could be made available for the addition of an inscribed plaque fixed in view to the back of the bench. The contribution required for this option is £1,449 for individuals (excludes VAT) or £1,738.80 for businesses and organisations (includes VAT).

Option B: Donation of a new bench with plaque
This option allows for the installation of a new seat in one of the council's parks and open spaces. The contribution required per bench is £2,174 for individuals (excludes VAT) or £2,608.80 for businesses and organisations (includes VAT). This includes the bench, installation of an inscribed plaque fixed in view to the back of the bench.
