Swansea has "one of UK's loveliest winter beach walks"
A stunning stretch of Swansea coast has been highlighted as offering one of the UK's top beach strolls.

Sunday Times chief travel writer Chris Haslam says that Oxwich and Three Cliffs Bay offers a "thrilling" six-mile walk.
The multi award-winning journalist says that it "follows the curve of the bay to the cathedral-like magnificence of Three Cliffs Bay."
Chris writes: "Once you've peered into rockpools at the base of the Great Tor you can wander to the vast sandy inlet of Pobbles Bay beach."
He recommends heading into the "beautiful and sheltered" Nicholaston Woods and visiting the Oxwich Bay Hotel which "has afternoon tea and lovely rooms with a sea view."
Chris's other top beach walks included treks at: Hells Mouth, Cornwall; Dunwich, Suffolk; Blakeney Point, Norfolk; Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire; Craster and Howick, Northumberland; St Cyrus, Aberdeenshire.
Swansea is known for its award-winning beaches including Rhossili Bay and the iconic Worm's Head.
The area has around 20 beaches covering over 30 miles of coastline.
Langland Bay and Llangennith have some of the best waves for you to catch on your surfboard.
There are activities like rock climbing at Three Cliffs Bay and kayaking at Oxwich Bay.
There are incredible opportunities to see local beach wildlife and, for the family-focused, Rotherslade Bay Beach and Caswell Bay are among those with plenty of sand.
Beaches in the Swansea area offering fantastic winter walks in include Swansea Bay Beach, Broughton Bay Beach and Port Eynon Bay Beach. Go try them out!
