Music and entertainment lined up for free festival
A packed line-up of music and entertainment has been announced for a free Swansea festival taking place from tomorrow.
People who like to boogie can head for the city centre Croeso Festival which will feature a range of live acts.
The two-day event for all ages will celebrate all things Welsh this Friday and Saturday.
The council is behind the festival which is presented in association with First Cymru and supported by Welsh Government's Food & Drink Wales.
Entertainers will include Roly Poly, Mellin Arts, Eleri Angharad, Melda Lois, Araby, Gildas, Phoenix Choir of Wales, Asha Jane, Dafydd Hedd, Tom Emlyn and Llyffant.
There'll be a parade at 12.30pm on Saturday and the afternoon will also feature Sunflowers Wales presenting a thank you to Wales from the Swansea Ukrainian Community.
Host for both days of live music will be Helen Enser Morgan.
On both days, Croeso will carry on into the evening. The council has teamed up with Swansea Music Hub, Menter Iaith Abertawe and city centre venues to present Croeso Nightworks live Welsh music.
Other attractions will include cookery demonstrations by top chefs.
