Food banks and other food support

We offer 24 hour emergency food packs intended to cover individuals for 24 hours until they can get to a food bank/receive their benefit payments. We are not a full on food bank, however we can refer to food banks in some circumstances. For example we have a good relationship with Sketty Foodbank for referrals.

Monday to Thursday from 10.00am to 4.00pm

During our opening hours anyone is available to come into the office and shelter from the temperature/weather.

  • users can also play a game on a console, currently we have a PS3 and Sega MegaDrive available with a selection of games. There are also a variety of board games available.
• Refreshments available
  • we have a variety of crisps, as well as offering soups, teas/coffees and bottled water
• Drinking water available
• Visitors welcome to bring own food / drinks
• Advice, information and signposting
  • while in the Warm Hub, users can also access/ask about the variety of other services we offer, as well as any other general queries or signposting we may be able to help with.

As a partner with WeAreGroup, we can help users fill in various online appeal forms and some other government application forms, Appointments can be done both remotely and in person, same day availability/walk ins are also an option (pending availability). The services covered by this include:

• social security and child support (appeals only, not initial applications): PIP, UC, ESA etc
• online civil money claims
• single justice service
• help with fees
• divorce
• probate

  we offer free small discrete brown bags of pads/tampons to anyone who needs them.

Free mobile data

As part of the National Databank, we can provide users with free mobile SIMs / data. We have stock of O2, Three and Vodafone SIMs to provide (pending availability).
