ALN - Resolving concerns
Many problems can be solved informally by talking to the teachers at your child's school. Before taking further action, make sure that you have shared your concerns.

General concerns
I think my child / young person has an Additional Learning Need, who do I speak to?
Disagree with the school / college decision
When you disagree with the school / college decision regarding Additional Learning Needs and / provision.
Disagree with the local authority decision
When you disagree with the local authority decision regarding ALN or ALP.
Advocacy - supporting the learner
Advocacy will support you and make sure that your voice is heard when decisions affecting you are being made.
