Parking permits

If there is a residents parking bay in your street or in a nearby street you can apply for a digital permit.

Resident parking permit

Parking permits are free and aim to allow residents to be able to park near their property.

Resident saver permit

Resident saver permits are free and allow Swansea residents to receive discounted parking in council car parks.

Apply for resident parking bays

You can use this form to apply for new residents parking bays to be added in the street that you live in.

Family visitors permit

If you are a relative of a person who needs significant levels of care and support due to illness or age, you can apply for a permit to park in the residents parking bays in their street.

Care attendant permit

This type of permit can be issued to organisations or companies that provide care so their staff can park in residents parking bays when calling on clients to provide care.

Holiday visitors permit

Visitors who normally live outside Swansea who will be staying in the area for at least 3 days can use one of these parking permits to park in a residents parking bay while they are here.

HMO residents parking permit registration

If you live in a HMO (multiple occupancy house) and cannot get the Council Tax reference from your landlord, you will need to let us know so we can register you on our system before you can apply for a permit.

Parking waivers

Waivers are issued to builders and tradespeople who need access to load/unload vehicle in restricted areas or residents parking zones for work purposes.

Apply for a white 'H' bar marking across vehicular or pedestrian access

You can use this form to apply for a 'H' bar marking for the street that you live in.

It is an offence to give false or misleading information when applying for a parking permit.
