To hold a civil ceremony or wedding at premises in England or Wales, the premises must be approved by the local authority. Information about applying for approval plus the relevant application forms are available on this page.
Applicants must make public notice of their application with a period of three weeks for objections. Placing the notice on this website is acceptable and the council will carry this out for you.
Fees and Charges Valid 1st April 2012 - 31st March 2013.
