Improvement Plan 2006/2007

Welcome to the City and County of Swansea Council's Annual Improvement Plan for 2006/2007. "Moving Forward" outlines this Council's Objectives and Actions for the future and especially for the next 2 years.

These are aimed at achieving and sustaining improvement in performance and service delivery. 

This year the Improvement Plan has been published in two parts.  This first part, published in July, reports on the broader picture for Swansea as set out in our Community Plan and Corporate Plan and will contain an update on what we are doing towards the Welsh Assembly's national strategy set out in the "Making the Connections – Delivering the Connections" agenda.  It will be a reflection of how we plan to deliver services that meet the needs and priorities of communities and citizens, in a fair, affordable and sustainable manner. 

Part Two is the full Improvement Plan which provides an update and further information on progress with our aims, ambitions and key developments.  The report will also give a detailed picture of performance across all services for the period 2005/06.
