Street Scene Worker - Level 3 (closing date: 01/03/17)

£17,547 - £19,238 per annum. 37 hours per week. The post holder will be expected to undertake the following tasks routinely with little or no supervision and demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative: General maintenance of the Streetscene environment including repairing highway defects and cracks, digging access trenches for cable and pipe laying.

The main day to day task of the post will be on highways maintenance and work relevant tasks.

This role is considered a physically demanding position requiring resilience particularly with regard to adverse weather conditions. At this level, operatives should have experience of similar work and hold or working towards work related accreditations.

Driving licence is essential minimum 3.5 tonne, preferred CPC 7.5 tonne as required on a routine basis including where appropriate vehicle checks, and required routine maintenance. Driving and use of vehicles over 7,5 tonne may be required where qualification allow on an occasional basis.
