Renewal of Marriage Vows

This ceremony is for any married couple wishing to renew the vows made to each other on their wedding day.

To celebrate a special wedding anniversary or to reaffirm your commitment to each other. 

For those couples who were married abroad, to share the marriage celebration with family and friends.

An unique celebration...

The ceremony is a meaningful, personal and a unique experience, which can be tailored to your own requirements.  You are able to create your own celebration by selecting the words, poems, readings and music that hold special meaning.

The Renewal of Marriage Vows ceremony can include the children of the marriage or guests and friends who were not able to be with you on your wedding day.  New rings can be exchanged or old rings re-dedicated and gifts can be given as a "Thank You" to each other or to the special people in your lives.

The Celebrant

Your ceremony will be conducted by one of the professional Celebrants at Swansea Registration Service.  They will meet with you before the occasion to offer advice and assistance. 

Remembering your day

You will be presented with a certificate to mark the occasion.  This is signed during the ceremony by the couple and two witnesses.

Important Information

• Neither the Renewal of Vows, nor any document issued as part of the Ceremony has any legal status and cannot be used to establish legal rights.
• These ceremonies are secular, and do not contain religious references.  Couples who wish to have a religious ceremony should contact their local church or religious community.
• You will be required to produce a copy of your Marriage Certificate before a ceremony can be booked.
